The Australasian region (part of the global Norske Skog group) supplies nearly 900,000 tonnes of paper to publishers and commercial printers throughout Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and Asia.

Publication papers available from our local mills and from our global network of mills are designed and manufactured to the highest standards for newspaper, directories, magazines, retail catalogues and books.

Resulting from over 50 years’ involvement, experience and investment in the industry, Norske Skog has the privilege of supplying the bulk of paper requirements for both metropolitan and regional newspaper publishers throughout the region.

Considerable innovation in logistics and service systems together with regular upgrading of paper machines and the introduction of recycling facilities has led to highly efficient and effective supply capabilities on a sustainable basis.

All mills have chain of custody certification and all wood supplies are from sustainable sources - waste or by-products from plantation softwood forests or recovered and recycled paper.
