Monaro Post is an award-winning print and digital newspaper covering news, sport and events for the Snowy Monaro region, the home of the Snowy Mountains Scheme and now Snow Hydro 2.0.

The newspaper is distributed across the Monaro and Snowy Mountains region including the towns of Cooma, Jindabyne and Bombala, merged to form the Snowy Monaro Regional Council in 2016.

It is a growth region of over 22,000 residents featuring tourism, snow sports and hiking in the Kosciuszko National Park.

Monaro Post was launched in 2006 and replaced Cooma-Monaro Express which closed in 2016.
