Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund awardees for 2025 were officially presented with their funds last week by Snowy Monaro Regional Council’s mayor, Cr Chris Hanna, and CEO, Noreen Vu.

35 Snowy Monaro community groups received grant funding from the Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund in 2025, sharing in a total funding pool of more than $280,000.

This year’s funding supports a diverse range of projects, events, and institutions that enhance community life across the Snowy Monaro from clubs to fire stations and community halls.

Lake Light Sculpture Jindabyne received a $5000 grant through the Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund, funded by TilT Renewables and administered by Snowy Monaro Regional Council.

“Lake Light Sculpture is one of the region’s most loved cultural events, and funding like this ensures we can keep creating something special for the Snowy Monaro,” chair, Dani Kell, said.

“This support plays a vital role in helping us return to the Lake Jindabyne foreshore for our 25th anniversary exhibition in 2026 - a milestone year that will bring new installations, night-time activations and a program designed to elevate the visitor experience.

“As we approach our 25th year, the funding helps us continue to grow the event for our community and visitors alike.”

The Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund was established as part of the NSW Government’s approval for the Boco Rock Wind Farm project.

The next round of Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund grants opens for applications in the first half of 2026. Community groups are encouraged to start planning their applications now to give their projects the best chance of success.

Group are set to turn their projects into a reality through the funding help.
