Five Jindabyne High School students will be heading to Sydney Olympic Park to take on the state’s best athletes.

Matilda Forsdyke will be competing in shotput and discus; Cameron Keyes in 800m and javelin; Angus Linton in 110m hurdles, 400m hurdles and triple jump; Kaydence Phillips in 1500m and Tyler Reid in 100m hurdles, high jump and pentathlon.

Jindabyne High School principal, Kelly Henretty, said the school community is behind the athletes.

“We are incredibly proud of your hard work and dedication. Run strong, throw hard, compete with courage and enjoy the moment, Jindabyne High School is cheering you on.”
