THE Bombala & District Chamber of Commerce is encouraging its community to be more involved and connected with local happenings through attending the organisation's next meeting on Monday September 18.
“If you would like to be updated on past and present projects happening in our community, all locals are invited to attend this meeting with Mayor Narelle Davis who will be providing updates,” Chamber President, Christine McIntosh said.
The following list of items is to be discussed at the meeting -
- Monaro Rail Trail;
- Bombala Swimming Pool;
- Truck and Weir Project;
- $4.6million that was allocated for projects that have not yet been completed. This includes streetscapes for most areas and various other smaller projects, some of which have been completed like the toilets in the CBD, construction of the all-abilities playground, kiosk upgrades and so on;
- Bombala Heavy Vehicle Bypass Route;
- Original Bombala Activation Plan;
- Old Bombala Infants School.
“If there is anything on the list that you feel has been overlooked that you would like to discuss at the meeting, please let us know so that we can forward it to Narelle to get information before the day,” Mrs McIntosh said.
“We look forward to seeing you there.”
